I've owned and built a number of Double Star rifles and I keep buying them. If your looking for a very well built AR-15 that rock and rolls all the time, the Double Star is what you want. Their price is great, but if your looking for a "name" S&W, Bushmaster, Colt, DPMS and so on. Don't waste your money on just a name. I'll go one on one with my DS with any other stock Black rifle out there and kick their butts, plus I'll have extra cash for ammo too.

Excellent price, excellent weapon, excellent service. I received the rifle quickly and as advertised. Really impressed with with how fast the whole purchase was completed. Thanks you, Buds Police Supply. I'll be buying my next gun here. The M4 is everything it's advertised to be. I wish I could have bought two of these.

This rifle lives up to the hype. almost bought the Bushmaster but I am glad I saved that money for ammo. this rifle is as put together as any of the so called big boy names. do not let this go i dont think it will stay at this price forever. get it while you can you wont be dissapointed

This is a great rifle!! Fit and finish is outstanding!! Have had it at the range twice now and have had no issues either time, using several types of ammo and mags. Not a single failure of any kind, something I can't say for my S&W 15A (excellent rifle with just a few jams first time out) which cost several hundred more. Also have a SIG556 that didn't perform as well as the Doublestar has. Highly recommend it!!

Before I bought my Black Rifle I did extensive research on some of the major models then I found an article on the Doublestar M4/AR15's which told me that they are a local Kentucky AR manufacturer with there parent company supplying AR parts for like 20+ years to the AR community. So every review I've read they talk about the quality and it is apparent in this rifle, from the first moment I held it in my hands the finish was smooth with no tooling marks anywhere on the rifle. The black finish was smooth and uniformed, no drips or sags. The action of the gun is tight and all parts glide across each other like butter. I dropped some trijicon nights sights on it with a ccg flip up rear site and a Vortex red/green dot sight on it and it looks awesome. Also got the CMMG .22 conversion so I can plink with this rifle.
Buds Police Supply is a great store to deal with, if you can get over to the store I highly recommend stopping by as JR and the crew will take care of you and all your needs. They also know that Bud runs a tight ship and that customer service is a priority for Bud. Thanks again for a great deal on a great rifle, Bud, JR and the rest of the crew.

I did a lot of research before I bought this rifle and believe me you will NOT find a better price. I am in law enforcement and talked to a few officers about the Doublestar and got nothing but good reviews. I give kudos to the guys at Bud's, No problems or hassles when buying my rifle. I have a duty carry Bushmaster and this weapon is every bit or better. The only drawback is that the handguard is a bit too big for me but other than that this a very fine weapon. I will for sure be buying my next weapon from these fellas!

Love this gun! I bought this gun from a local FFL store and I have to say it looks good. I would not hesitate by buy anotherone. I took it out to the range and fired 100 rounds through it and I did not have a single problem the gun felt solid. My step son fired it and said that it looked and felt as good as his bushmaster. Bottom line you can't go wrong with this gun.

Outstanding! As a Police Officer for mmore than 19 years I have shot just about everything out there. I used to have a Bushmaster AR that used all the time and I really liked it but I have to say that when I purchased this DoubleStar M4 I was a little skeptical that it would be as compatible. First I would like to say that the purchase from Bud's was nothing but a great exerience and very professional. I thought that since it was so close to the holiday that I would have to wait until after to recieve it. They shipped it out the next morning and I recieved it within 2 dyas of that! Very fast shipping and packaged good. I then took it out to the range, inspected it and then fired approx. 50 rounds through it. I was very impressed! This M4 shoots just as good if not a little smoother then my Bushmaster did. I am sold and will look for more DoubleStar products. I will always look at Bud's website first. It is really hard to find a place online that has great products and great service as well. Thank you guys and I am now going to purchse some accessories for this rifle!
