I wanted a decent stock 1911 to fit my medium-sized hand that I could use in competition without modifications. This pistol satisfied my needs perfectly. I have only fired a few hundred rounds of handloads through it; so far no misfeeds or malfuntions. I shot a half box of odd assored range pick-up ammo and I have not found a round yet that it will not handle. Public internet forums give this pistol a mixed revew, but all my friends who have tried my pistol say the same thing: sweet.

Its waiting for me to pay it off but meanwhile I just shot my co-workers, Gunsite SW1911PD 4 1/4", and it's AWESOME!!! I know this one will be just like it. The recoil is just like my full size Springfield 1911 MilSpec. I would have thought it have more muzzle flip but that was not the case. Smith is doing an awesome job with these new lightweights unlike Colt back in the days. The long reach trigger combined with the oval grips, sight picture with the gold bead front is a great combo! If you are thinking about it, just DO IT. This is an A+ firearm worth every cent. Plus this LEO pricing is awesome. Thanks BudsPS...
