After a quick cleaning and this pistol is very easy to maintain. I went out and tested at the range. Very accurate, recoil was managable and has all the features that I was looking for. The sights are a good set up with the 3 dots, front and rear serations are excellent, steel guide rod is nice plus too. There just is not much to change or gripe about on this pistol. A great 45 at a great price with excellent service from Buds and knowing that you have Smith & Wesson to back your gun up is good for a peace of mind.

Received the pistol today. After 20 minute cleaning, I fired 100 rounds of Remington FMJ 230 grain. No problems, it is easy to field strip, to clean, and to change backstraps. Night sights are a plus. Accuracy and dispersion are adequate and I think will improve as the trigger mechanism is cycled. I plan to do extensive dry fire. Pointing is good and I believe the multiple backstraps permit people with very different hands to use effectively.
