I shot this handgun for the first time today. It seems larger than the image appears, and feels chunky in the hand. A good feel, but probably not the choice for concealed carry (unless in a jacket). Certainly less recoil than expected when firing .357 125gr rounds, and easy to stay on target during rapid fire. Trijicon front sight is great, fairly easy to acquire in the rear sight; however, some symbology or tritium markings on the rear sight would be helpful for quick acquisition. I put 70 rounds of .357 125gr and 110gr, as well as 50 rounds of .38 Special through it in an hour - targeting stayed true, and hand hurt not a bit. Very accurate at 7yds in rapid fire, with reasonably tight grouping at 15yds. Much further, and better go for center mass (or shoot better than me). This weapon, however, proved very well and quickly.
Extractor rod is designed for incomplete travel - I ended up spinning and pulling spent shells.
This is my 3rd revolver (first was S&W Airweight .38sp, second was Taurus Judge .45LC/.410), and I am pleased. As long as you can take down the bad guys with 8 shots of .357mag, this is probably the best weapon around. No hog, dog or scumbag stands a chance against it. However, for extended exchanges, this would be a difficult weapon to use, due to time required for reload (no quickloaders for this 8-shot that I know of). However, that being said, I would definitely buy it again.
