Great purchase from BUDS! This is my first conceal/carry weapon that I have ever purchased. I ordered on-line on a Tuesday and picked up the gun on Friday morning. 1/2 hour free range time allowed me to fire 50 rounds through the gun, prior to leaving the store. This is a great little fire arm from Ruger and I am looking forward to carrying this piece in February after obtaining my conceal carry license. BUDS customer service was outstanding and I look forward to making many more purchases in the future.

Did not like it. Way too much recoil, after shooting entire magazine hand hurt like crazy.

I bought ths gun last month and have been unable to make use of the gun as it is too tight for me to pull it back to a firing mode so it is auctaly useless for me.
It fits in my pocket like a gem, since I do not carry loaded weapons with me without a saftey it would be impossible for me to use it,
It there a way to loosen up the slide so i can use it.I took it to the range and the gentleman said it was not loading even when I den get get the slide back.
Help

This is my third weapon from Buds and it performed flawlessly right out of the box. Fired 50 rounds without any jams or any cheap ammo malfunctions. The trigger pull is looong...it takes a little to get accustomed to so that you're not messing up your sight picture and sight alingment. Recoil is harsh on the hand due to the lightweight construction, my hand was oily and therefore slipping up on the grip after a couple of magazines. A good leather driving glove may help in this situation, but I did not have one. I did not experience any "slide bites" or other skin pinching operations through the cycles. I am accustomed to keeping my grip below the dovetail portion of the grip on any weapon, it just makes for a pain-free target practice session. AWESOME!!! CCW piece easily concealable, got a pocket holster and extra magazine (a must for personal reassurance). Buds transacation was smooth and it was shipped right away, cant beat the prices at Buds Police Supply!!! Ruger has a definate winner in this little piece, I only wish Ruger would include an extra magazine for as this was the most expensive 10 rd spare mag I've ever purchased! Thanks Buds!!! Gunny Salazar, Semper Fi!

Small frame easy to put in pocket or ankle holster. Not something you want to go to the range and shoot targets with. The frame is small for a large hand and there is no way to hold it without it climbing and nailing your thumb web. I fired 18 rounds and drew blood, on me. The trigger pull is too long so you have to use the tip of your finger. This does not give you a good hand hold. I was still able to achieve a decent grouping. I would try to get one to try at the range before buying. It may fit your hand OK.
