I have owned a lot of 1911s dating from the old days when Colt was pretty much the only option. At the time, they were the standard which the new generations of 1911 were to be judged by. I am very pleased to say that this new 1911 came out exceptional. I am very pleased at its fit, function, and accuracy.They are all top notch. In the 70s, a newColt and a trip to the pistolsmith would have cost more in Jimmy Carter dollers than this one cost today adding in the cost of inflation. What else can I say........
