Fast ship, A+ to bud's, but the score doesn't include bud's. Finish is clean, no marks or marring anywhere, evenly coated, etc etc. What really gets it top marks isn't how pretty it is, but the firm connection with the railing (hand tighten + 1/4 turn) and the smoothness of the sight and adjustment knobs. A little firm out of the box,put a drop of CLP on the pivot and listen to the smooth, distinct clicks. Tested from 0%-100%-50% elevation, every click was smooth as the one beforeand after, 100%L-100%R-0% (center) same. Why go with a carry handle/basic rear sight? It can't get cracked or broken (unless you're trying very very hard), you don't really need to worry about keeping it "clean" in the field, doesn't need any special pampering once you get her back home, and honestly, if you can hit with iron sights, you can hit with optics... Not as true in reverse...
